It is made from deadstock cotton fusible gauze, with hand-applied and embroidered denim patches, repurposed from offcuts of our jeans jacket. The dress features a crater neckline, a fitted bodice and a soft drape that gently follows the shape of the body, forming natural folds at the hem. It fastens with hand-sewn mother-of-pearl buttons and presents a unique aesthetic with a distinctive texture.

The gauze was sourced from surplus stock. Through textile experimentation, a manipulation technique was developed to apply and embroider the denim patches. The process involved the removal of adhesive residue and a specific treatment to create semi-transparent sections in the fabric—enhancing the irregularity and turning waste into value.
